About Jennifer
Jennifer bridges visionary thinking with practical execution, helping leaders and teams align people, purpose, and strategy to move from ideas to action. With a calm, collaborative energy and deep insight into how teams function, she creates spaces where complexity feels navigable and innovation feels possible. Her approach combines strategic clarity with a human-centered mindset, empowering others to work together successfully and adapt with confidence.
Jennifer holds a master’s degree from Michigan State University in Human Resources and Organizational Development and is a Fellow with the Strategic Doing Institute. With over two decades of experience in organizational development and strategic leadership, Jennifer has always been drawn to the intersection of systems thinking and collaboration. She spent over a decade in the corporate world, working across organizational development, training, operations, and management.
Her professional journey also includes a decade at Purdue University Fort Wayne, where she taught Organizational Leadership and led key university initiatives and cross-sector partnerships. During this time, her growing curiosity about systems change led to an immersion in the Systems Engineering department—where she met Jason and their collaboration began.
Together, Jennifer and Jason launched Gensyn Design in 2019 to help teams and organizations navigate uncertainty, tackle complex challenges, and co-create the future they want to see. Jennifer leads workshops and client engagements that unlock group potential, build trust and alignment, and lead to designing actionable strategies. Her work reflects a belief that culture drives results—and that how we work together matters just as much as what we’re working toward.
Outside of work, Jennifer finds joy in reading, cooking, and travel. She and her husband Kevin love hosting friends and family, and life is always an adventure with their kids and extended crew close by.
